Material:

Made from PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) — a certified home compostable polymer that fully breaks down under composting conditions without leaving toxic residues. Designed for strength, flexibility, and breathability, this eco-conscious wrap helps reduce single-use plastic while keeping food fresh and protected.

Disposal: This wrap is home compostable certified. For best results, place used wrap in your home compost bin.

Storage: Store rolls in a cool, dry area. Use wrap within one year of purchase.

Certified Home Compostable (Australian Standard AS 5810-2010)

This product meets the Australian Standard AS 5810-2010 for home compostability, verifying that it will break down completely in a home composting environment without leaving any toxic residues behind. It’s designed to decompose safely in ambient temperatures, enriching soil and supporting a healthy compost ecosystem.

Certified Commercial Compostable (BPI – In Process)

Currently in process for BPI Certification, which recognizes products that meet ASTM D6400 standards for commercial (industrial) composting. These standards ensure materials disintegrate efficiently and safely in municipal or industrial facilities without harming the environment.

Our home and commercial compostable food wrap is designed to break down easily in your home compost bin or in an approved industrial composting facility. Check with your local waste management provider to confirm availability, accepted materials, and participation guidelines in your area.
